KENET Special Interest Group
KENET formed two special interest working groups in educational technology and engineering education and research in November 2014. This is line with KENET’s mandate of promoting collaboration in education and research and being a catalyst in the transformation of education and research.
The KENET’s strategic plan 2011-2017 identified five focus areas for collaboration in educational technology, engineering, health sciences, agriculture and ICT (i.e., computer science and information systems).
KENET shall give travel grants to faculty or graduate students in the KENET Special Interest Group academic areas, namely, engineering (all areas), computer science / information systems, medicine, agriculture and education (or educational technology). Only conferences whose proceedings indexed in Elesevier's Scopus or Web of Science databases shall be eligible (these are the databases used in Webometrics or Times Higher Education University rankings).
We are pleased to have increased the travel grants to 15 ($30,000) in 2016 alone. The application can be done online here
